Landon was born on Wednesday morning, and we were in the hospital until Friday afternoon. Overall, we had a nice stay ... And the doctors and nurses were great. There was tons of poking and prodding from doctors, nurses, residents, breathing specialists, food delivery, housekeeping, etc., etc., etc, all hours of the day and night. It was definitely chaotic!
My parents, Raina, and Janice were visiting the first day. Brian's parents and Kelly and Mike stopped by to visit a few times. Keith and Mandi also came by to meet the little guy!
They made us keep a detailed diary of his feedings, pee, and poop. Although he peed a couple of times right when he was born, he didn't pee all day Thursday or Friday morning. We were getting worried, and were about ready to do an ultrasound to check for blockages. Then ... He pee'd!!! :) It was pretty funny how excited we were! Immediately after we saw the wet diaper, they released us to go home.
You should have seen us driving home. We literally live less than 2 miles from the hospital (no highways) ... and we were so scared!
